Healthy Snacks To Make With The Kids Over Spring Break – Global BC Segment

March 18, 2016

in Blog

I was invited over to Global BC Morning News this morning for my third segment. This time, I super excited to be bringing one of my girls with me! My older daughter Sienna will be helping me make a recipe. Tune in at 8:35am PST if you’re local to Vancouver.  She’s really excited to join me, and loves helping me make healthy treats. A chip off the old block! 😉

There are a few recipes I’ll be chatting about….

Cheerio Treats

These 3 ingredient treats are a different twist on rice krispie squares. Very easy to make and super yummy!

Homemade Fruit Rollups

These homemade fruit rollups are not only delicious, but are also a fun activity to do with the kids. The hardest part is simply waiting for them to be done in the oven. Warning: these disappear very fast!

Brownie Protein Truffles

With only 4 ingredients, these are also very easy to make and you can roll them in whatever toppings you like. I recommend using a good quality whey protein isolate when giving to kids. I love Diesel, which is 100% New Zealand whey with no hormones or antibiotics. Its also naturally sweetened with stevia.

Hope you enjoy!

Perfect! Those Cheerio treats would be a big hit in our house. I need to remember that recipe and get my little guys to help me with them. Congrats on the TV segment! I wish I lived in Vancouver so I could watch! 🙂
